What does being an Emirati mean to me

The word “Emirati" means a citizen of The United Arab Emirates which originates from the country's name. The UAE is ruled by the Nahyan family along with six other tribes. An Emirati's mother language is Arabic & he follows the Islam religion. An Emirati is usually very connected to his family.
Emiratis has their own formal clothes which are; Ghutrah (a squared piece of cloth worn as a Hamdaniya or worn with Agaal), Agaal (a black circular ring that is worn with Ghutrah), Wizzar (an underwear which is wrapped around the lower body part), Kandora (a long sleeved, white, long & a nick less dress) with Sandals.
Emiratis have many traditions which revolve around the Bedouin life. Emiratis and their ancestors have used falcons for hunting, as well as; camels for transportation. The palm tree was used for both: food and construction. There are also some interesting hobbies; such as, falconry, the traditional boat racing, Yolla and camel racing-breeding. Some of the emirati traditional food is; Harees, Luqaimat, Fread, and Al-Majboos…etc.
In conclusion, I’m a UAE born and I was raised here my whole life. I share my unlimited love for the royal family as I consider them my fathers & a part of me. It's a great honor to be a member of this nation.
